Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026 · Last updated: August 31, 2026

SEOAISpiderX (hereinafter referred to as "the Software") is a local-first SEO data collection and analysis tool running on Windows 10 / Windows 11. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect relevant information when you use the Software and visit the official website. Please read it carefully before use.

1. Core Principle: Data Never Leaves Your Machine

The Software is designed to run locally. Data generated while you use its core features is stored only on your own computer by default:

  • Collected data such as crawl results, page titles and descriptions, link relationships and status codes is stored in a local database.
  • On-page SEO audit results, the keyword library, external and internal link libraries, and history records are all stored on your machine.
  • We do not upload, synchronize or back up your crawled content or audit results, nor do we use them for any model training.
  • AI-assisted analysis supports local large language models; when a local model is used, the analyzed content never leaves your computer.

Only when you call the third-party services listed below (such as SerpApi, Google Search Console or WordPress) do the necessary request parameters leave your machine, and then only after you have actively configured and authorized them.

2. Information We Collect

1. Information you provide voluntarily

  • Activation and subscription information: license key, registered email address, subscription plan and period of validity.
  • Payment information: order number, payment channel and payment status. Sensitive payment details such as bank card numbers and account passwords are handled directly by the third-party payment platform; we do not collect or store them.
  • Third-party service credentials: the SerpApi key, WordPress site address and application password, Google account authorization token and similar items that you fill in to use the corresponding features.
  • Feedback and communication: problem reports, email content or attachments that you submit voluntarily.

2. Information generated while the Software runs

  • Software version, operating system version, language and region settings.
  • Crash logs and error reports (submitted only when you choose to report them, and used to locate faults).

3. Information generated when visiting the official website

  • Anonymous statistics such as the pages visited, the referring page and the time spent on the site.
  • Browser type, device type and approximate location (at city or country level).

3. Third-Party Services and Authorization

You decide whether to enable the following services. Once enabled, the relevant requests are sent directly from your machine to the corresponding provider:

  • SerpApi: used to obtain search results. The query keywords you enter and the necessary query parameters are sent to SerpApi, and its processing is governed by SerpApi's own privacy policy.
  • Google Search Console: obtains the search performance data of your site through OAuth authorization. You can revoke the authorization at any time in the system settings or in your Google account; after revocation we can no longer obtain the relevant data.
  • WordPress sites: used to publish or edit posts. The site address, user name and application password you configure are stored only on your machine and are used solely to send requests to the site you specify.
  • Local large language models: if you configure a model that runs locally, the entire inference process takes place on your machine; if you actively choose a cloud model, the corresponding content is sent to the provider you configure.

We recommend that you review the privacy policies and terms of each of these services before using them.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

  • The official website uses necessary cookies to maintain basic functions and may use anonymous analytics cookies to understand page visits; we do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • The Software uses local configuration files and a local database to store your preferences, task configuration and history; this data is not uploaded along with browser cookies.
  • You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, but this may cause some features of the website to stop working properly.

5. Purposes of Using Information

  • To provide, maintain and improve features such as URL crawling, keyword analysis, rank research, SEO auditing and content publishing.
  • To verify license validity, manage subscriptions and provide technical support.
  • To troubleshoot faults, fix defects and protect the security of the Software and your account.
  • To send you version updates and important announcements, provided that you have given your consent.
  • To fulfill obligations required by laws and regulations.

6. Storage and Security

  • Third-party service credentials are stored on your machine using encryption or system credential protection mechanisms, and are not uploaded to our servers.
  • Data transmission uses encrypted protocols such as HTTPS / TLS.
  • We keep activation and subscription information to the minimum necessary, and clean it up promptly once the purpose has been fulfilled or you request deletion.
  • Please keep your local login credentials and license information safe. If your device is lost or your account is at risk, contact us or reset the relevant credentials promptly.

7. Sharing, Transfer and Disclosure

  • We do not sell, rent or otherwise trade your personal information.
  • Except in the following cases, we do not share your information with third parties: with your explicit consent; when it must be provided to the corresponding provider in order to complete a feature you requested; or when required by laws and regulations, judicial or administrative authorities.
  • In the event of a merger, division or asset transfer, we will inform you of the name and contact details of the recipient and require it to remain bound by this policy; if it changes the original purpose of processing, your consent will be sought again.

8. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time, and we will respond within a reasonable period:

  • Access and correction: query the information we hold about you and request correction of inaccurate content.
  • Deletion: delete local data, or ask us to delete information related to activation and subscriptions.
  • Withdraw authorization: disconnect third-party authorizations such as SerpApi, Google Search Console or WordPress in the system settings, or delete the corresponding credentials.
  • Export: export crawl and audit results to local files such as XLSX or Sitemap.
  • Account closure: after you stop renewing and cancel your subscription, we will handle the relevant information as agreed.

9. Information About Minors

The Software is intended for webmasters, SEO professionals and content operators who have full legal capacity, and is not directed at children under the age of 14. If we discover that we have collected information from a minor without the consent of a guardian, we will delete it as soon as possible.

10. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy from time to time. If there are material changes to the purpose or method of processing or to the types of information involved, we will notify you through an in-software notice or an announcement on the official website. The revised policy takes effect on the day it is published, and continued use means that you have read and agreed to the updated content.
